At Katherine South Primary School (KSPS) all teachers will cater for different levels of adjustment according to the student’s identified needs. The KSPS Learning Support Process involves the class teacher, their team leader, Learning Support Coordinator (AP), parents and Allied Health Professionals.

The Assistant Principal oversees learning support to ensure that Students With Additional Needs (SWaN) are supported to achieve their personal best.  Class teachers work in partnership with families to develop and implement individual learning support plans, these plans are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.  The Assistant Principal works with Student Wellbeing and Inclusion (DoE) to ensure that individual needs of students are met.  Inclusion Support Aides (ISAs) are employed and work in classes to support identified students within regular classroom learning activities to achieve their goals, as negotiated with class teacher.
